50 Companies to Follow on Twitter During Your Job Search

It is incredibly important to do your research before interviewing with any company. You should be familiar with their products, branding strategies, values, and the way the business communicates with their current and potential clients. Believe it or not, Twitter should be your first stop as it has the potential to be one of your most valuable resources. Twitter allows companies to have a voice that can interact with its customers. By scrolling through a newsfeed, you can get a sense of the kinds of charity work that a company might do, and get an inside scoop on the latest achievements or newest projects that the company might be working on. The following is a list of the top 50 companies you should be following on Twitter based on Canada’s Top Employers of 2014, Maclean’s 50 Best Employers, and some of my personal favourites. Check out their Twitter feeds to see what they’re up to!
